About us

We are a gold exploration and development company focused on fast-tracking the development of our Twin Hills Gold Project (“Twin Hills”) in central Namibia while advancing our extensive portfolio of Namibian prospects, aiming to make further discoveries.

Established in 2016, Osino Gold Exploration and Mining (Pty) Ltd. (“Osino”) has become a leading exploration and development company in Namibia. Our company is wholly owned by Shanjin International Gold Co., Ltd. (“Shanjin”)  which acquired the company in August 2024. We are committed to advancing the Twin Hills Gold Project, which is nearing the completion of the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase and is on track to begin construction in 2025. We have completed over 325,000 meters of drilling overall since 2019 and continue to drive other exploration initiatives, with the Eureka Project in Ondundu being a key focus.

“With Shanjin International as our new parent company, we’re focusing on building what will become one of Namibia’s largest gold mines.”

ABOUT SHANJIN

Shanjin International Gold Co., Ltd. is a leading enterprise specializing in the exploration, mining, and trading of precious metals and non-ferrous metal ores. Beyond its ownership of Osino, the company operates six mining enterprises, including four gold mining companies, a lead-zinc-silver polymetallic mining company, and a trading service provider for metals with integrated financial risk management.

TWIN HILLS

Since Osino’s grassroots discovery of Twin Hills in August 2019, over 225,000 meters of drilling and extensive technical studies led to the 2022 Pre-Feasibility Study (“PFS”). The PFS outlined a technically straightforward, economically robust open-pit gold operation with a 2.15Moz reserve, a 13-year mine life, and average annual production exceeding 169koz. This was followed by the release of a Definitive Feasibility Study (“DFS”) in 2023. With the Front-End Engineering Design (“FEED”) phase completed, construction of Twin Hills is planned to commence in 2025.

This core project is favourably located north and north-west of Namibia’s capital city Windhoek. By virtue of their location, the projects benefit significantly from Namibia’s well-established infrastructure with paved highways, railway, power and water in close proximity. Namibia is mining-friendly and lauded as one of the continent’s most politically and socially stable jurisdictions.

Exploration

Osino holds a commanding land position of approximately 8,000km² within Namibia’s prospective Damara sedimentary mineral belt, primarily located near and along the strike of the producing Navachab and Otjikoto Gold Mines. The company employs a portfolio approach to exploration, actively investigating a range of gold prospects and targets along the belt, with a focus on identifying gold mineralization consistent with the broad orogenic gold model. Osino also continues to evaluate new opportunities to expand its Namibian portfolio.
