Heye has over 20 years of experience with top-tier mining companies and financial groups. As the former President & CEO of Ecuador Gold & Copper Corp. (“EGX”) he was instrumental in the creation of Lumina Gold Corp. through the C$200m merger of EGX with Odin Mining. He is a co-founder of Auryx Gold Corp. and co-lead Auryx through IPO, capital raising, project development to the C$180m sale to B2 Gold Corp. Prior to that he worked for Nedbank Capital and Old Mutual Investment Group. He spent the first ten years of his career with Rio Tinto, AngloGold-Ashanti and Gold Fields, building and operating mines in Africa.

Alan is a South African-trained lawyer and public markets entrepreneur. He has been involved with North American public markets for over 15 years and played an integral role in acquisitions, financings and go-public transactions for many resource companies onto TSX and AIM. Alan is a Co-founder and Director of TSX-V listed Eco (Atlantic) Oil and Gas Ltd. and a co-founder of Auryx Gold Corp. He is also a director of the Canada-Southern Africa Chamber of Business.

David is an Associate Counsel at Boughton Law Corporation, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He practices in corporate and securities law, advising mining, technology and biotechnology companies that are listed, or preparing to list, on Canadian exchanges. Mr. Toyoda graduated from UBC with a LL.B degree and a B.Comm degree with honours and was called to the bar in 1993. He is a frequent presenter and lecturer on corporate and securities law topics at conferences and universities, including the TSX Venture Exchange and Simon Fraser University. He is a Director of several public companies.

Eugene has been a corporate consultant to public companies in Canada since January 1994, primarily involved in the acquisition of assets and joint ventures. Mr. Beukman graduated from Rand University of Johannesburg, South Africa, with a Bachelor of Law Degree and a Bachelor of Law Honors Postgraduate Degree. In total he has over thirty years’ experience in the acquisition of assets and joint venture agreements. Mr. Beukman is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. He is a director and/or officer of public companies trading on the TSX-V and the CSE.
Alan Rootenberg is a chartered professional accountant who has served as the Chief Financial Officer of a number of publicly traded companies, including mineral exploration and mining companies listed on the TSX, TSX-V and OTCBB. Alan has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and received his CPA designation in Ontario, Canada.

Dave has 26 years of broad exploration experience in Africa and beyond. He spent his formative years with De Beers and Anglo American including 6 years in Tanzania and Kenya, exploring for gold and base metals. The last 12 years he worked as an independent exploration consultant in exploration, target generation, evaluation and due diligence programs for, among others, Newmont, AngloGold-Ashanti, Silver Bull Resources and Roxgold. Commodities include gold, silver, base metals, uranium, manganese and iron ore. Dave is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geology, and Registered Professional Scientist with the SACNSP.

Jon is a geologist with more than 20 years of experience in Exploration and Mining Geology. His career has been focused on the Africa and Middle East regions and includes diverse experience in precious, base and rare metals, industrial minerals and coal. He has held exploration manager and senior consulting positions with several major and junior mining companies listed on all major international stock exchanges.
Tony da Silva
Finance Manager & In-Country FD
Tony is a qualified CA(SA). After graduating from the University of Natal he completed his articles with Nexia in Cape Town and stayed on as an Audit Manager after completion. In 2008 Tony joined BlueAlpha Investment Management as an equity analyst and later became a portfolio manager managing local and offshore assets. Since 2017 Tony is the Financial Director of Osino’s operating subsidiaries in Namibia.

Maria has worked in Administration and Finance for 20 years, among others for the Desert Research Foundation, the Namibia Diamond Trading Company, the Meat Corporation of Namibia and the GIZ. She holds qualifications in Environmental Education (Unisa), Bookkeeping (Damelin College), Accounting & Finance (Namibia University for Science and Technology) and is studying to obtain a Bachelor of Business in Administration (South Business School).
Emmanuel oversees all the company’s field activities. He has 9 years’ experience in Mineral Exploration Geology mainly in Namibia. Most of Emmanuel’s experience has been in Uranium focused on both primary and secondary uranium mineralisation, rare earth metals and copper exploration. Prior to joining Osino, Emmanuel held positions as Senior Mineral Exploration Geologist at TSX listed Forsys Metals Corp’s flagship project – the Valencia Uranium Development Project, at Namibia Uranium Corporation and at the Shali Group of Exploration Companies. Emmanuel holds a Master of Science in Applied Geology from the University of Namibia.
Jolanda has a Master’s Degree in Geoscience, Resources and Environment, where she specialised in raw mineral materials from ENSG University (Ecole Superior de Geologie) in Nancy, France, She also has an Honours Degree in Geological Prospecting acquired from Saint-Petersburg State Mining Institute in Russia. Jolanda has been in the mining /geology sector for six years, of which she spent four years as a production geologist at NAMDEB, at E-Bay mine in Luderitz and two years doing exploration work with Shali Mining and Kunene Resources. She’s responsible for managing the company’s database, which includes supervision and implementation of the company’s exploration activities in Namibia.
